Elementary student athletes were high-energy as they put their best foot forward at their Municipal and the System Track Meets on June 4 - 8, 2018.
Over a four day period from June 4 to 8, 2018, at Notre Dame CSS, Holy Trinity CSS, Bishop Reding CSS, and Jean Vanier CSS, students arrived energetic and enthusiastic to put forth their best foot as they concluded their season at the final HCDSB/HCAA Municipal and System Elementary Track and Field Meets.
Elementary students from across the Board were eager to beat their personal bests and earn points for their school's overall score as they participated in events such as 100-metre runs, relay races, long jumps, and shot put. Schools were awarded points when an athlete placed in an event for the System Meet, held on Friday, June 8, at Jean Vanier CSS.
By the end of the day Friday, the student athletes had proven their excellent sportsmanship, and had made their schools proud. St. Benedict CES finished the Meet in first place, completing the day with a whopping 89 points!
